Renovate & re-purpose
Instead of tearing out damaged floors, they are renovated and recoated with ESD Colour Base and ESD Top Coat which meet all requirements for cleanrooms. It is also possible to convert floors that were previously not suitable for cleanrooms.
PARTICLE EMISSION
Dr. Schutz permanent coatings fulfil cleanroom class ISO 5
This has been confirmed by a test conducted by the Fraunhofer IPA. This means they can be used in areas such as the semiconductor industry, research, etc. Existing cleanroom floors can be re-furbished and non-cleanroom-classified floors can be converted.
OUTGASSING
Low outgassing for optimum cleanroom conditions
The Fraunhofer IPA has tested the outgassing behaviour of Dr. Schutz PU coatings and certified that they meet the ISO-ACCm Class <-6.7 and <-9.6.
SLIP RESISTANCE
Fulfils the legal requirements for slip resistance in cleanrooms
Suitable slip resistance is important in cleanrooms and ESD areas to prevent employees from slipping and falling. With our products, slip resistance classes R9 and R10 are met, as certified by the PFI Pirmasens in a study.
CLEANABILITY
Significantly easier cleaning thanks to a seamless surface
The hermetically sealed surface and the closure of the joints make cleaning PU-sealed floors much easier. In its test, the FIGR confirmed the improved cleanability of floor coverings with a permanent seal.
Without coating dirt gets stuck in surface cracks and joints thereby providing a breeding ground for bacteria which can hardly be removed by cleaning.
With Dr. Schutz permanent coatings the floor becomes hermetically sealed, so that germs can easily be removed from the surface and disinfected.
